“Alps,” a workshop for PES partners, from March 30th to April 2nd, 2023, was held with PES partners to explore the landscapes of Digne-les-Bains and local know-how. The workshop took place between Digne-les-Bains, Auzet, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, and the Monastère de Ségries, starting from the Gorges du Verdon. The visits provided a sensitive approach to mountain landscapes. Using observation, photography, and writing, the team shared their impressions of the visited landscapes and the art project that CAIRN has been developing for over 20 years. The visits were organized and led by Charles Garcin, co-director of CAIRN (CDLB), and Carlos Casteleira, photography professor at École Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence (ESAAIX).
