The Mediterranean region is a mosaic of agricultural fields interspersed with wild – mostly mountainous – areas, urban areas, and transportation routes. With the public, artists explore and produce forms or situations that contribute to new narratives. They thus participate in new ways of recomposing and recosmising the world so that the countryside remains a place of life, a refuge, and a source of inspiration. This Seminar brings together artists, students, teachers, and other professionals interested in dialogues between art and agriculture / rural and urban, the core theme of the Entre Serras – Creative Europe Project (PES). The Seminar includes talks by artists, researchers, art and/or agriculture and biodiversity professionals, round tables, exhibitions, performances, screenings from a research-creation perspective.
