The workshop \u201cAlpes Landscapes and Alpes Sound Landscapes\u201d took place in March and November 2023. Led by ESAAIX, this action was aimed at art students, who were challenged to explore the territory and landscape of one of the PES_CE mountains: the Alps of Haute-Provence, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants were invited to explore the territory of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence \u2014 including the villages of St Jurs, Auzet, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, and Digne-les-Bains \u2014 through the lens of visual and sound landscapes, with several encounters with local residents and artists along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was facilitated by Charles Garcin (CAIRN Art Centre)<\/a> and Carlos Casteleira (ESAAIX); teachers\/artists Catherine Melin, Peter Sinclair, and Abraham Poincheval (ESAAIX)<\/a>; Jos\u00e9 Julio Garcia Arranz and Isabelle Moreels (University of Extremadura); Jean Luc Bourel and Roger Isoard (La Fontaine de l\u2019Ours); Cedric Parizot (MMSH); Claude Pelestor; S\u00e9bastien Klotz; Gabriel Carn\u00e9val\u00e9, Michel Simon, and Fran\u00e7oise Putz (Fontaine de l\u2019Ours \/ Auzet); Philippe Borgard (Saint Jurs); and Michel Favre (Riez).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participating students were Atea Lelaisant, Claire Demariafanelli, Dimitri Moudar, Elliott Bouthmy, Emanuelle Bou-Zeid, Francisco Almeida, Harrison Feu, Theo Giachetti, Maud Nivet, Meher Kafalian, Sofia Moreels Arranz, Vivien Perrot, Yang Liu, and Zakaria El Ouaqoudi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
