The \u201cTalking Stones\u201d residency took place in Sierra de San Pedro (Spain) in 2023, and later in Sierra de San Pedro (Spain) and Castelo Branco (Portugal) in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andr\u00e9s Talavero<\/a> began by exploring the Malpartida region in Spain, and later moved to Castelo Branco, Portugal. There, he was joined by L\u00e9na Hiriarteborde<\/a> and Fernando Mota<\/a> to produce a multi-portrait of the landscape. Malpartida de C\u00e1ceres and Castelo Branco are urban areas located in plains surrounded by mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The residency was organised by Ayuntamiento de Malpartida de C\u00e1ceres \/ CVP (Spain)<\/a> and MVM (Spain)<\/a>. It was facilitated by F\u00e1bio Ramalho, Rafael Seguro, and Carlos Reis. The participating artists were Andr\u00e9s Talavero (Spain), L\u00e9na Hiriarteborde (France), and Fernando Mota (Portugal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
