Samakh designed the installation of small electronic devices that mimic the light emission of fireflies during the night, alluding to the decrease in biodiversity, an installation that continues to shine over the mountains of A\u00e7or, Estrela, and Mesas. In July 2023, a pilgrimage In Search of Fireflies took place around the Rossim Dam, Serra da Estrela. The route was led by a biologist and a geologist, with artists and the general public participating.
