Entre Serras Project (PES_CE) presents the catalogue “Networked landscapes”, marking another chapter in this project dedicated to enhancing the territory through art. Available in a digital format, this catalogue brings together all the artists and works featured in the exhibition of the same name, held between March and May 2025 in Malpartida de Cáceres (Spain).
The exhibition, presented in dialogue with the seminar “Art, Life and Networked landscapes”, was organized by Museo Vostell Malpartida and Centro de Información y Documentación de Vías Pecuarias, with curatorship by École Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence. The event took place across several emblematic locations between Malpartida de Cáceres and Cáceres, bringing together various artists and students from Portugal, Spain, and France.
Showcasing a wide range of works across diverse art forms, such as photography, video, sculpture, installation, and performance, this repository aims not only to document the processes of artistic creation and research developed throughout the project, but also to encourage reflection on the role of art in rural and cross-border contexts. It is grounded in the premise that collaborative networks can shape artistic practices that raise public awareness of the spaces we inhabit.
This catalogue further reinforces the importance of promoting international cooperation, artistic exchange, and the appreciation of mountain territories. Through this publication, PES_CE continues its work of dissemination and knowledge sharing, encouraging new forms of dialogue between art, community, and landscape.
“Networked landscapes”, presented in the form of an e-book, is available for download in English and Spanish, allowing the public to explore in detail the projects, artworks, and artists who contributed to this initiative.
