“Some works stem from constant experimentation, touching materials, investigating forms and compositions, reviewing art history… but the ones that excite me the most are those that appear like a fleeting breeze or a nearly imperceptible sound, revealing themselves unintentionally while meditating during a walk or contemplating a landscape.
I often project works based on these fleeting ideas that arise when I dream, read, or walk, sparked by a casual flash of association, a sign along the way, or a wandering thought.
I work in the studio as much as I can, and the atmosphere changes completely depending on the project I’m developing. I believe that working in the workshop with materials and tools is important, but in my case, I pay a lot of attention to finding these surprises. Ideas emerge unexpectedly from anywhere, and the manual execution of the work or its presentation often unfolds along the same path, while traveling, in the landscape, outside of the studio.”
